My Five Favourite Cafes In Lisbon

Lisbon, a charming coastal capital city of Portugal. It is a city not only blends in traditional heritage, but also strike modernism and progressive thinking. Finding some places for a rest and chill in the bustling and exciting city? Don’t worry! During my five days vacation in Lisbon I visit many cafes in there and finally I listed out my favourite 5 cafes in Lisbon. Hope it can help you!

BOUTIK

I found this nice place close to my hostel! My eyes got attracted by its decoration when I am on the street. It is not only a cafe but also a pretty cool store where you can get some stylish sweaters, rain jackets, accessories, etc. The chairs are so comfortable to sit and it is very cozy. A pretty quiet place to enjoy a nice coffee time!

Nicolau Lisboa

Located near the busy Praca do Comércio, it was born in the summer of 2016. It is a cafe that enjoy breakfast food at any time of the day, not only on Sunday, but also the weekdays the brunch is available! When I visited there, it took me some time for the queue but it worth the wait! The staffs were very attentive and helpful. Good vibes here and I had my pancake so freshly and tasteful!

Le Petit Prince Cafe Culture

Le Petit Prince Cafe Culture has the wooden tables and stools piled highly. Once I came into the cafe, I felt like jumping into a rabbit hole! The cafe has a bookshelf with the namesake novella by Antoine de Saint-Exupery with different languages. It is one of the good spots in the town for having the coffee while watching the neighbourhood life. I got the tartines from here and it was really excellent!

Seagull Method cafe

It is a great selection of breakfast and brunch! It is a hidden gem near the park of Principe Real. The interior decor is elegant and earthly! I enjoyed my food so much all together with the warm welcome from the super friendly and accommodating staffs!

Wish Concept Store & Slow Coffee House

Located in Lx Factory, this converted textile warehouse housing shops, co-working spaces and public art installations. With a list of magazines on the bookshelf you can simply grab one and enjoy your reading with a nice latte!
